This group covers two research topics: methods and applications of Digital Image Processing, mainly for compression
and analysis, Signal Transmission and Telecommunications; and secondly Telematic System Engineering.

This group is currently an active member of the Spanish National Technical Committee for Telematics applied to transport
and road driving.
Currently, the Telecommunication Research Group has the following staff: 12 Professors, 8 Readers, 9 Lecturers and 29
researchers and 14 PhD students.
